Hi everyone. You may not have noticed, but I stopped posting because I have been real busy with my business of late. I though I would jump in, say hello, and let you know what I like this weekend.
I have made two plays thus far, both strong plays in my opinion.
ATLANTA -7
In addition to the obvious advantages (home field, bye week, etc.), the key to this matchup is the Atlanta defense. First, they lead the NFL in sacks and will be going against a shaky offensive line and a QB that needs protected to be effective. Bulger has been very solid of late but he does have a propensity to throw interceptions. The Falcons are 3rd in the NFC in interceptions and have returned 4 of them for touchdowns. St. Louis is a poor road team so dome or no dome, I'm laying the points here.
INDIANAPOLIS +2
Well, before this line came out I was leaning to the Colts based on the significant matchup advantage they are going to have against the Pats secondary. I also liked the fact that they played in Foxboro in the AFC Championship game last year in these elements, opened the season there as well so they are familiar with the surroundings. With the line opening most places under a field goal for the SB champs a team that hasn't lost at home since the eighth grade picnic, after a bye, with Belicheck & Brady, with Manning's history of losing to the Pats, etc. it just seems like an invitation for Pats money.
I will have a play on the Eagles game but will probably lay off the Steelers game due to my fan bias.
